| The Irish Wolfhound Internet Trust was
established in early 1997 by an international group of Wolfhound
enthusiasts who correspond via the Internet. The principal purpose
of the IWIT is to raise funds for and encourage support in worldwide
Irish Wolfhound Rescue and Health Initiatives. All income after
expenses is donated. |

The project that started it all was a button project on the
Irish Wolfhound FAQ Mailing List. From the sale of specially
made buttons to listmembers, with
which they could identify each other at Irish Wolfhound shows
and other get-togethers, US$1,100.00 was raised which was distributed
among various Irish Wolfhound rescues and health-related research
around the globe! By the end of 1999, the Trust has contributed
more than US$10,00.00 to global Wolfhound charities! |
